3. Hike the Petroglyph National Monument

   This monument is a great way to introduce children to ancient cultures. The monument preserves over 20,000 images pecked in stone by early Native Americans and Spanish settlers.

4. Picnic at Elena Gallegos Picnic Area

   This beautiful picnic spot offers stunning views of the Sandia Mountains and is a perfect place to unwind, have a meal, and perhaps spot some local wildlife.

5. Bike along the Paseo del Bosque Trail

   Rent bikes and take a leisurely ride along this 16-mile trail that runs through the heart of Albuquerque. The trail is mostly flat and perfect for families.
